I bring news from Richard Man who is stuck in Japan chaperoning kids. 
According to the camera store people he talked to, the Epson R-D1 is 
due in August at Y320,000 (US$2962). Whether this before the numerous 
discounts and point card bonuses is unknown. But it looks unlikely 
that we'll get it for less than $2500 for the near future.

Oh well. I'll wait a year until it gets remaindered.
