Unless you have one of the newer ones that can benefit from a "Write Acceleration" cards, but usually a "small" digicam does not support that technology. BTW, IO bandwidth is and will be a major limiting factor of how much resolution (i.e. Megapixels) a consumer/prosumer/pro digital camera has. Sure cache will come down in price blah blah blah, but it is still not a non-existent issue that some of these (30 MPs in your cellphones in 2007!) zealots will have you believe.
