I bought a D70 2 months ago and like it very much.
The kit lens is regarded as excellent.
I tried the D70 , D100 and D1x and D2h.
I felt the D70 had the features I liked at a reasonable price. As for lenses
I don't like zooms and tend to stay with prime so I chose Sigma 24/1.8 ,
Nikon 50/1.4 and a Nikon 85/1.8 , the shop through in a 28-200 zoom but it
has stayed in the box.

But simplicity reins with a M6 and a 35
