Subject: [Leica] follow-up on John Collier re Mikko's 35mm Summilux 1.4

   Leitz Wetzlar's Jan. 1, 1975 catalogue says an E41 filter is used on 35mm 
1.4 Summilux-M  lenses up to Serial No. 2,166,700 and Series V11 after that. 
Leitz also says that the lens hood "accomodates filters from Serial No. 
1,166,701," the second version. It says that the outside diameter for the first 
version is A46.5 and A42  for the second version.-- bob cole
