Well it's spring, the Velvia was calling, and we're doing all this landscaping
in the front of the house.

This first one is a native California plant:

Then I got all inspired to try to do something in black and white. So we had a
bight sunny day and I pulled out the T-Max 100 which I have been trying to learn
and shot these:

This is a deep red rose - no filter - but the vein structure sure leaps out.

And this is a ground cover. I was attracted to the pattern and the
dimensionality.

All were shot with an R8, 100mm APO, the color on Velvia 50 and the black and
white T-Max 100 in T-Max developer @ 20C.
