Well, the focus ring seemed a bit out of round, which caused the focus to
bind a bit at one point. Re-lubing helped considerably. Admittedly, the lens
could have been the victim of rough handling or other damage from a previous
owner. I was just wondering if the chrome versions were more robust.

In fairness, I've never had a Leica component suffer irrepairable damage.
It's tough stuff.
