Folks - 

Regarding the literal answer to the question about a bag which will hold
this rig without accessories, there is a really cheap ($10) Vangard
thing called a Marco 8. With the lid closed you get very good bump and
weather prtection. With the lid folded against the back it becomes a
shoulder holster for an M with a 35 4th gen spherical and hood (I'm
guessing that the asph. would fit without one.) You can draw, shoot and
drop the thing back in record time...
