As a long time Minolta user, it amuses, but doesn't surprise,  me that
these guys (I'm referring to the Dirck Halstead article) are quick to talk
about the latest offerings from Nikon and Canon, but completely ignore
Minolta's 8mp A2.

It's ironical that while they appear to be very progressive in their jump
from old fashioned film to the latest digital tecnologies, their old
prejudices still prevail.
