I'm looking at moving to a larger format printer than the 2200 - keeping it for
color and a larger format for B&W.

Cone says that the cartridge format for the 2200 is presenting difficulties for
Piezography but that 4000 will not.

Just a note - I've gotten the new ICC profiles going on my 1280 and have been
printing the same image on the 1280 and the 2200. I've framed the two images and
put them on the wall. The result - I'm actually leaning toward the 2200 with the
Epson inks even though there is a slight color cast - that does something for
the image. This was the impression of several folks who have looked at the
images.

The Piezo system is using cool-neutral with portfolio black.

I was stunned by this. Has anyone else done this type of experiment? I might try
the warmer ink set and see how it compares.

Still - having a wide-bed printer like the 7600 is seriously attractive - to my
wife who wants to make custom posters for the non-profit she runs.

Decisions decisions.
