Had the epson but recently traded up to a refurbished Umax Powerlook 1100
(<$500)
Un >blipping< believable scans. Plus will allow you to scan transparencies
up to 8x10 (ie the perfect contact sheet maker)
Twas the last nail in the darkroom's coffin for me.
