Avery makes labels that are "removable", and you can stick these on your
baseplate where they will stay securely until you peel them off.

Fellow Luggites,
For years, I've used Avery 3/4" Color Coding dots. There is a
Rainbow
Pack with red, blue, yellow & green.
Make up your own system and stick to it.
The dots can not only show you what type of film is in your camera,
you
can number your rolls for caption identification, mark processing info
for
push or pull processing, etc.,etc.
Happy Snaps,
Sal
