The Leica shot is too busy - the buildings, the rocks, the pilings, the kids - without there being much rhyme, reason or pattern to it. But the Rollei shot is much cleaner; a few stark vertical lines amid the snow... B. Winter came upon us ... from a single, constant direction ... painting the trees with snow. I'm not making resolutions, but I'm aiming at always having a Rollei shot. When it comes to Leica ... I want to (but no resolutions) try and concentrate on color slide film. The PAW is a good learning experience, and my color shots are typically pretty uninspired. I want to get comfortable with it. But doing so makes it hard to meet deadlines. The slides won't be back until Monday or Tuesday. I'm also going to try and make friends with the 50mm lens again.
