Amen to that! Workflow automation is critical to minimizing work away 
from shooting.

Anyone who uses Mac OS X owes it to themselves to learn a little 
Applescript and see just what amazing things you can do with photos 
directly in the operating system now. Like resizing, converting, 
changing color space, cropping, rotating. All without any independent 
program like Photoshop or Graphic Converter or GIMP. I'm thinking of 
writing some things and selling them!
