Actually, I was guessing...  the pix were very good candids of a lovely
child. However, on my monitor, there was considerable grain visible.  This
is the effect that I get when I try to sharpen high speed films such as
Kodak or Ilford 3200. I can "sharpen edges" successfully with Fuji Neopan
1600 without sharpening the grain also.

What film did you use?

PS- I admit to being overly sensitive to grain.
