How close can you get? I say the reintroduce half frame big time with lots of glass to go with it which also goes with your digital cameras. With an image circle that size they can do anything. I'm sure come out with an F1 normal lens, They can throw smoke bombs at the people standing around the background to make them look less distracting. I think that's a big thing in cinematography.
