Good comment, Rob. Anyone who is "doing" as in "making" should also be
thinking critically as well. I can't imagine otherwise. You might think of
it as being reflective, introspective, self-aware, or any number of similar
concepts, about the work you do. Any artist who isn't able to "witness" her
or his own work is well ... not very critical!
