Superstition indeed. 
However, I take note of it due to financial reasons
when I want to sell it. I remembered back a few years
ago, a vintage Leica with a serial number of 18888xx
was sold for an astronomical amount at Sotherbys
because 2 Asian gents were desparatly trying to get it
all any costs.
