(massive run on sentence, better stop) http://www.dragonsgate.net/photopost/index.php, look under 2003 Ani Magic. I actually took a set of studio flash and set it outdoor. Just to be safe, I set the lights more or less 45 degrees from the side to make sure that I would get sufficient lighting, albeit boring. It worked reasonably well, but I obviously have to watch for the burnt out w/ white costumes more. Also, I need to be more careful w/ distortion w/ the 35mm lens. Speaking of which, the camera/lens got dropped off accidentally. The lens shade shattered and there's dent on the rim. It looks to be usable, but may be I will send it in for repair. I love that lens. I also took some pics in Joshu Tree national park. See the "Members Galleries" on that page. I took 12 rolls of slides in the convention. That's definitely a record.
