Subject: Re: [Leica] What Meter for M3 - MC, MR new Voigtlander VC ?

Kindermann Canada, the official Canadian repair depot, is still
servicing the MR meters and has a supply of original parts

BUT

the parts are not cheap. A meter movement alone is worth more than most
used meters. If you are looking at a used meter make sure the meter
needle does not flop around freely. The most common "serious" fault on
the MR meters is a corroded circuit board which is repaired by
soldering in a jumper wire. Most meters revive nicely with a good CLA.
