The images are reproduced from prints and contact sheets, as the negatives were, indeed, destroyed when the World Trade Center towers fell. Given that, the reproduction of most of the images is quite good. It's fascinating to see so many contact sheets, to see what was shot, and what was printed. It's also scary to realize how young he was - something like 26 when he first started shooting the Kennedys, and how damn good a photographer he was. Oh - there are two shots of HCB riding in a convertible with Ethel and Bobby Kennedy, with HCB smiling broadly, clutching his Leica.;-) B.
