The flat landscape here accentuates the clouds and the light, and so this is my theme this week. One day, while driving on the motorway near my home, I saw the approaching storm along the dike, and I just had to capture the combination of dark clouds and sunshine: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2003_40.jpg Here is the view along the dike; I have posted more or less this same image in B&W a few weeks ago, but the sky was much more dramatic this time: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2003_40alt1.jpg The second alternate has nothing to do with the other two. It shows an object of my desires when I was a teenager in Denmark in the 70s. It is a 50cc motorcycle, called Zündapp, German I suppose, which we all craved because it could be made to go something like 100 km/h with relatively little fiddling. And here I see one, thirty years later, right in Almere: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2003_40alt2.jpg All three pictures taken with Leica CL, 40mm Summicron, on Ektachrome 100G. The complete PAW index is at: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/indexpaw2003.htm and comments/critique are as always welcome and appreciated.
