I offer the thought, again from first hand experience, that drinking a lot
of strong coffee prior to scrubbing in at surgery is that
what-goes-in-must-come-out... Coffee is a diuretic and having to take a leak
during surgery is not always convenient.  Think of the hassle of speeding
down the hall to a rest room that might not be convenient and that scrubs do
not have zippered flys....

I have known surgeons who catheterized themselves prior to long surgeries...
no, really!

drink minimal coffee prior to visiting the OR!
