I know not everyone is a fan of Andre Kertesz, but his book "Diary of
Light" if you can get one (only 3,000 printed in quad-tone) is a great
book by a true pioneer of small camera work.

Heri-Cartier-Bresson Photographer (a.k.a. The Decisive Moment) is a
great book. I picked one up on eBay for $75. :-)

$75 huh, its come down in price. I saw one in the 70's for $175. The
original cost was around $12. At least that is what I paid for my copy
when it was new.
