Subject: [Leica] Hawk Hill

I'm planning a visit to Hawk Hill north of the Golden Gate bridge this coming Sunday for more photos of migrating hawks. A sample from a previous year's visit is at http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/ssha0.html

List members are welcome to join me (directions can be found at www.ggro.org). The hill can be crowded on Sundays and parking is limited so either arrive early or plan on a stiff hike to the hill.

I'll be using the 560mm f/6.8 Telyt so if anyone would like to borrow my 560mm f/5.6 to try your hand at hawk photography, let me know. It's hefty so I won't bring it unless someone is interested. You'll also need to bring a sturdy tripod and a compatible camera body. Any Leica SLR from the SL through R9 will do, or an EOS with an R-to-EOS adapter.
