Are you suggesting that the photographer saw the girl, saw her pose, saw that shot, paused and thought - 'ah, I believe I will switch to a wide angle lens for this shot, as it will emphasize the head over the body, and make a statement about a moment in childhood?' If you are, you are not only far stupider than I think you are, you are also clueless about how photographers work. But you've already made that incredibly clear to everyone on this list. I'd ask why you don't just shut up and post - but then, having seen the "images" you've send to a few list members, I know the answer to the question. ;-) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Afterswift@aol.com Sent: Tuesday, September 09, 2003 4:09 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] weekly picture In a message dated 9/9/03 12:57:02 PM Pacific Daylight Time, bdcolen@earthlink.net writes: > Ability to spot a moment in a child's life? The photographer, using a WA lens, nevertheless emphasized her face, which is what the image is about. You missed everything. I respectfully suggest that you cool down the rhetoric and really read the English and look at the photograph carefully. Count to a million. Then post. You might have something insightful to say about the photo instead of demeaning someone else. br - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
