For some the situation in the west is intolerable, but still holds the most potential despite our shortcommings.

Closer than is comfortable - as time goes on and - polls indicate a very possible re-election of GWB - If these folks actually continue in their 'pursuit of empire' - I will have to consider leaving my homeland - and yet if feels quite difficult a decision.
