To a large extent, I was put off by their price, and to an almost equal amount, by the pandemic prejudice against them by a generation of young photographers, of which I was one once. I have since learned otherwise. Moreover, I'll tend to use my Summilux-R more often in available light, than I would the Noctilux, because of the closer working distance. That to me is a very big draw back to the M line as it is.
