There's already a version of Linux (Yellow Dog) that runs on G5 Macs. Making it the fastest Linux going in a desktop personal computer. But the problem is a complete lack of professional graphics apps. GIMP is not capable of replacing Photoshop, and won't be for some time, if ever. How do you replace Quark or InDesign? Illustrator?
