Obviously the longer lenses that were adaptable to visoflex (and work at infinity) can go on an R body with the right Viso to R adapter. Leitz also made adapters that pemitted the shorter M lenses to adapt to a Visoflex but only for macro work as the lens extension is too long for anything near infinity. You will get macro images. You will not get "very tight headshot portrait stuff" unless it be the pimple on the subject's nose, enlarged to frightening proportions. ;-) Seth LaK 9 - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ian Watts" <watts@firebomb.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, August 29, 2003 1:33 PM Subject: [Leica] M to R adapter - is there such a thing? > [Originally asked on Photo.net Leica forum so I apologise for 'cross > posting' but I reason that the LUG is the best place to ask the following.] > > I've done some searches for information about mounting an M lens on an R > body but haven't found much of use.
