And another one bites the dust.;-) It would actually be interesting - if
possible - to do a study to determine the length of time the average
Noctilux is owned by any one person. I know there are those of you who
are really, really hooked on the beast, using it for everything from
beach photography, to photographing the bottom of mile-deep wells, to
anchoring chicken coop roofs during hurricanes. But my guess is that
most people who buy them sell them again within perhaps a year to 18
months.

Interesting Peter, that after selling the 50 mm, I bought a Noctilux.
Just sold it and bought a 50 Summicron
collapsible. It got too heavy. Now I have an R8 and
compared to my R6 is weighs a ton (motor winder added)

As James Cagney once said: "Hello, Faddah!" (I've always wanted to use
that) :-) Welcome back. Where have your travels taken
you, and what have
you been photographing lately?

Karen, Fr. Cason is decidedly a Leica user, and his kit includes an M
rangefinder. I know because he sold me a wonderful 50mm Summicron-M
when he decided to concentrate more on his wide angle lenses. And I have
never heard him discuss Canon Law on the list.
