Seven years ago (9/26/96) Marc James Small wrote:

The Ednalite adapter number is 608 (your earlier quote is the only reason I
found out).  You would obviously know better than I, but I read somewhere
that the Tiffen Summitar to Series VI adapter number is 606.  (Ednalite #
601 is a 40.5mm to Series VI adapter.)
