My insurance agent used the SX 70 brood. The pack cameras had a very
longlasting battery that operated the automatic shutter in packs like the great 450. I
hope some day an outfit will make a digital back for the 450 type Polaroid.
The 450 has an excellent Zeiss view-rangefinder, if I recall correctly. In any
case, it was first rate.
I have my 450 well protected in its own system case and ready to go the
moment that digital back is available -- if I live that long. The 450 used
Waterhouse stops on a disk that rotated via a dial wheel. I think there's an outfit
that still repairs pack models.
