Ted,

I too am in the NW, the corn season is just beginning here. There is a
delicious available called "Bodacious" that has as tasty and sweet a flavor
as anything I ever ate from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska or California.
The Olympia Farmers Market opens on a bell at 10am....People start lining up
at 9:30 for the corn...
