I see that one all the time.  It's usually one of those big "tulip" hoods.
I though they were only being lazy, pulled the lens out of the case, and
couldn't be bothered flipping the hoods around.  Now I know it's a matter
of style.  Gangsta Photogs.  Rotfl!
