I know quite a number of 'real' photographers, at least two on the LUG, and few of them seem to be seriously plagued by problems that are the subjects of the majority of regular LUG postings. So what I wanted to say was just that. I did not want to say that the everybody reading the LUG is not a 'real' photographer. I am sorry if you got that impression. I am really not a real photographer myself. I have tried about every conceivable developer film combination and that certainly sets me apart from real photographers. Asked about developer film combinations they usually answer: 'Dunno, have been using Tri-X in D-76 1+1 for dozens of years and I have no experience of anything else.' (And you, what do you use?) When I ventured to ask the below mentioned photographer about the best tripod, I got the answer: 'Never use one'. And I have three in each of my two locations.... ;-) Chris >There are plenty of real photographers around here. That's almost an >offensive statement there.
