Delanoıs work falls into the category of ³Essay² for me.
The artistıs voice (style, vision) takes on a very significant roll in the material.
The images present facts with a very strong opinion and sense of emotion attached.
Within his body of work youıll find some images which move closer to purely documentary and others which clearly move into photo essay (as I intend to use the term). I do not intend to draw hard lines between categories that I refer to.
