But I have to add, I live a lot closer to Solms than Leica USA, DAG or Shirley. I also have good contact with the people who have done work on my cameras. It's nice putting a face to a job. You'd probably get a lot further in that respect with DAG, Shirley or Leica USA. Recommended ... but you might not like the hassle of customs/duty/whatever if you are in North America. I'm in the EU and don't have those considerations.
