Hi Luggers,
There is a product review in today's Technology Section of Hong Kong's
'South China Morning Post' headlined "Spoilt for Choice with Leica Modul -
R" (sic) which begins " The arrival of Leica's Digital Modul - R should
come as exciting news for both the professional photographer and the
style-conscious consumer". In this brand conscious town I find it revealing
that Leica is perceived as being for the "style conscious consumer". The
review says the pros of the back are "versatility - allowing analog and
digital photography with a single body and lens and the cons are "very
heavy weight and not officially due in Hong Kong until next year." Still,
nice to see that Schmidt (the Leica agent) can get this kind of article
planted in the paper.
Cheers,
Howard
