I don't have the references at hand, but a number of years ago when
the Panomigon and the Cosina 15/4.5 came out, and the Cosina turned
out to be very similar (and often cheaper) in price a couple of
people tried out both. The Cosina turned out to be a better lens; not
surprising, as a 15mm f/22 will be severely diffraction limited.
Also, since it apparently is not a retrofocus design at all, it will
show greater light falloff than the Cosina, which already suffers
fairly strongly from this problem.

I'm certainly not interested in this lens.

Sorry; the lens is actually an f/11, with a 'ACV system (Auto
Compensation Vignetting)' that does the same as a center filter, and
reduces the effective light transmission to an f/22 equivalent.

I used a Leica Hologon lens (f/8) for many years, and the Cosina is
noticeably better, and runs neck and neck with the Contax Hologon.
Both Hologons are f/16 in practice with the center filters, which
limits their use, have only one f/stop, are very expensive and the
Contax lens is not as wide - this makes a difference in this focal
length region.

In any case, my Hologon is at the moment in my safe, my Nikon 15/3.5
gets little use, and the Cosina 15 and 12 get used regularly. The 12
even accepts a center filter should you go in for that.
