I sort of looked down my nose at them until I tried the Press 800, which is outstanding. This is the film that most press photographers were using right before all the newspapers went digital. Having said that, when shooting color negative, there are plenty of opportunities to pick up contrast along the way to a print. So starting with a negative that has the ability to capture a large dynamic range as NPH does is not a bad idea. I'd rather have all the possible detail in the negative and choose to lose it later than not to have it in the first place. To my mind, this is the best argument for shooting color negative rather than reversal in the first place. I agree with your assessment that the Fuji Press films will deliver a character similar to Reala with higher speed.
