I did have to trim the outside diameter and they are a little irregular since I did not try to be very exact. In addition, they are a bright likeness to skin color. Of course, I now have no trouble finding the viewfinder in a fog. Also, the camera has not developed corns. When you put them on and let them sit for at least a day before using the camera, they stay put better than when you use the camera immediately. I haven't tried one but they look like they work well. Of course, I haven't priced corn pads lately either. > > See, > > http://www.cameraquest.com/inventor.htm > > Frank > > -------Original Message------- > From: Ken Firestone <kenf@speakeasy.net> > Sent: 07/06/03 02:56 PM > To: "leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us" <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Corn pads on viewfinder of Leica M > > > > > On Sat, 5 Jul 2003, Roland Smith wrote: > > As some of you may recall, I posted my idea to use corn pads with the > hole > in the center on the viewfinder of a Leica M in order to avoid > scratches on > <SNIP> > > I am glad to hear this works.
