I can still hope :-)  BTW - I know there is no anti aliasing filter (I 
suppose to not loose any sharpness) but there was a Moire switch on 
the back -- is that a 'software' version that can be switched on and off?

Unlucky Ed, it will be the exact same spec as released, and as 
confirmed in 
the press conference in answer to a direct question about whether the 
spec 
would change. The answer was no, the chip design and spec 
announced will be 
the one released at end 2004.
