there are 2 versions, the viso mount which does not require any adapter
for any viso II or III, and and the R mount which will not fit on a viso.
the viso version can be used with an adapter with the R body (and with other
adapters with many other SLRs, such as n*k*n and c*n*n). the reason is that
viso lenses are designed with an extremely long flange-to-film distance
(think about it, the distance includes the M flange to film distance
plus the width of the mirror box.) so there is plenty of room for
adapters to any 35mm SLR.

from what i've seen the viso version is rarer. i picked a mint 560/400 viso set
from *b*y a while back for $1500. i use it for my son's t-ball games. the
shoulder support and trombone style focusing are very ergonomic. and because
of its simple 2-element design it is quite light despite its size.
