It's certainly true that Leicas depreciate far more slowly than other cameras - - film or digital - but they do not appreciate unless they are special in some way. B. Which digital camera has not depreciated rapidly after it's release? Canon digitals are on a one year replacement. The people who bought the D60 are crying when the 10D came out. The 10D people will cry when the 3D comes out. C'est la vie.
