When warranted by circumstances I use a collapsible 39mm rubber shade on my
50/f2 Summicron. The shade blocks a small area in the lower left corner of
the viewfinder. When that is critical (it rarely is) I fold the shade back.
With the shade fully extended, I have noticed some vignetting with the
Heliopan Polarizer but not with a K2.
