A "painted with a broad brush stroke" here, but I would avoid any 
"Brooklyn" camera stores. Many are fly by nights. I'd stick w/ the big 
names like B&H, Adorama etc. or if Leica-related, one of the many fine 
Leica dealers that are on the list.

There is a web page somewhere with photos of many of these photo stores.
