True.  But Reinhold Mueller, who did the conversion on my SL, said simply 
to change the battery  every year and you'll have no problems... they 
usually last much longer and so you change they out, before they drops too 
much.  So far, he has proved correct.

At the cost of them, compared to silver - you can easily afford to do 
this!  You just have to remember!!!  :)
