Poway...versus La Jolla....?

Hot versus nice, cool, and breezy

The smell of dust and tumbleweeds versus the scent of ocean spray and
expensive perfume and leather

Lapidary shops versus art boutiques.

18-wheelers versus Beemers, Benzes, and Lexuses.

Disposible cameras versus Leicas

Only a short drive away, but a universe away in every other way. Both are
about the same distance from Nelson Photo on India Street.

Take your pick!

Jeffery Smith (a once-upon-a-time beach bum).
