Since my post on using both MP and M7 (a new model, M7 just in, with the
supposed latest viewfinder) - and saw absolutely NO DIFERENCE in flare while
shooting a ballgame (it was there/not there in each camera when hooting the
same angle) I just did what I normally do - either work through it if it's
not bad, or shift position of the eye or camera a bit and move on! "fix" or
no, I like them both (esp. the M7) to stay with them. I'm going to try the
scotch tape today, buy have had the Lutz device work fine. But, even without
it, they are not, nor will they ever be, perfect. I've learned to live with
tem as I have my 'family' - and there is no upgrade offered at any price for
any of them. However, by now, I would not even consider one. They are who
they are; together we get the job done.
