Please, educate us on all of the 'several' reasons not to buy a 
Leica... Let me try first:

1) lousy image quality
2) unreliable
3) does not hold value over time
4) company is not committed to the camera system
5) defective finder that is impossible to use in picture taking

... something like that?

Me, I like my Leicas, never had any problems with them, particularly 
not the finder, which I find to be among the best I have ever looked 
through (M6 and M7). Some of my best photos have been taken with 
Leicas, and some of my most enjoyable afternoons are spent shooting 
those cameras (despite the defective finders).
